Hello Friends,
 
We meet again on Sunday 2nd May for OPEN-HOUSE – from 2 pm - 4 pm, at Emmanuel Church Centre, 43 Forest Road.   Your hosts will be Steve Moses and Judith Hilton + other volunteers.   Bring a friend with you - OPEN-HOUSE is especially for overseas visitors to L’boro.
 
Monday 3rd May is a Public Holiday in the UK – do enjoy the day; walk down to Queen’s Park and have an ice-cream!
 
On Saturday, 8th May we have been invited to join the Christian Aid WALK – it’s only about 6 miles - more details next week.

I know an old lady who swallowed a fly.
Why on earth would she swallow a fly?
Perhaps she'll die.

I know an old lady who swallowed a spider
that wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed a spider to catch the fly,
