Sunday 3rd February 2013

Hello Friends,

We meet next Sunday afternoon, 3rd February. 2013, from 2.30 pm until 4.30 pm in the ‘Lounge’ @ Emmanuel Church Centre, 43 Forest Road. Your hosts will be Guy, Sneha and Helen - and other lovely volunteers. Bring a friend with you ~ OPEN-HOUSE International Friendship Café is especially for overseas visitors to Loughborough (students, academics, employees ~ married or single, children and adults); those for whom the U.K. is a ‘foreign’ land!

Also on Sunday, from 5 pm until 7 pm, you are invited to an International Tea @ John Storer House. It's a ‘Bring-n-Share’ meal followed by stimulating talk entitled 'New Life'. You are all welcome. Details on: http://sfellowship.org.

We plan to visit Leicester's 'National Space Centre' and 'Abbey Pumping Station' on Thursday, 7th February - entry and fares should be about £17. Bring your camera, and something to eat. Please tell me on Sunday if you wish to come with the group. We'd appreciate volunteer drivers - otherwise we'll travel there by bus! Meet outside Emmanuel Church at 8.45 am.

Every year, on the 1st 2nd and 3rd days of 1st lunar month, millions of folk around the world celebrate Chinese New Year (2013 is 'Year of the Snake')- and Spring Festival. On Sunday, 10th February, we at OPEN-HOUSE will celebrate with a bring-and-share meal. So, bring some food to share, and enjoy the company. This is for all nationalities, so bring a friend and food that represents all nations!

May you all experience God’s wonderful blessing,
