29th April 2015

Hello Friends,

We'll meet next Sunday afternoon (3rd May) from 2.30 pm until 4.30 pm in the ‘Lounge’ @ Emmanuel Church Centre, 43 Forest Road ~ OPEN-HOUSE International Friendship Café welcomes overseas visitors to Loughborough (students, academics, employees, residents - married or single, children and adults); those for whom the U.K. is a ‘foreign’ land!

Also on Sunday, you're invited to an International Tea @ John Storer House – it's a ‘Bring-n-Share’ meal followed by a stimulating talk.   Everybody is welcome – 5 pm to 7 pm.   Bring a friend and some food to share; for more details contact info@sfellowship.org.

Monday, 4th May is a Public Holiday, a time to relax and enjoy yourselves in the sunshine.   The Charnwood Museum is situated at the rear of Queen’s Park.   It's a ‘local’ museum with many interesting artefacts, and well worth a visit: entry is free - and they have a very nice café.   For a small charge you may climb to the top of the nearby Carillon Tower.   It houses a unique military museum, and as you climb up the narrow steps you pass through the array of about 40 huge bells.   Very interesting and lovely views over the town, so take your camera.

May you all experience God’s wonderful blessing,
