1st July 2015

Hello Friends,

You will enjoy a short WALK with Aaron on Sunday!   Starting mid-morning (so bring a bite to eat and something to drink) and finishing at Emmanuel in time for OPEN-HOUSE.   For all the details contact Aaron on anstey50@googlemail.com or 0772 518 8855.   Cameras and parasols at the ready!!

We'll meet next Sunday afternoon (5th July) from 2.30 pm until 4.30 pm in the ‘Lounge’ @ Emmanuel Church Centre, 43 Forest Road ~ your 'hosts' will be Aaron, and Rose ~ plus other volunteers! OPEN-HOUSE International Friendship Café welcomes overseas visitors to Loughborough (students, academics, employees, residents - married or single, children and adults); those for whom the U.K. is a ‘foreign’ land!

Invite your overseas colleagues and friends to join us on Sunday afternoons ~ we have travel books, games of skill, toys for the children, refreshments ~ and opportunities for making new friends, learn about different places, and practice your English.

Are you all looking forward to the free ‘Midsummer Concert’ at Emmanuel on Wednesday, 8th July.   Presented by our good South Korean friend, Yeoeun Jung, it features Korean Folk Songs, and excepts from Handel, Mozart, Puccini and Chiara.   The concert begins at 7.30 pm but I suggest you get there early in order to find a seat!

May you all experience God’s wonderful blessing,
