All the activities of OPEN-HOUSE are open to people from every nation in the world ~ we welcome overseas visitors of all races, languages, ages, faiths and cultures ~ no-one need feel excluded.   We speak in 'everyday' English so that everyone can understand everyone else.   You are welcome to come to our social activities every Sunday afternoon, to walks and days out on Saturdays, and to meals and other events during the week.

And, if you wish to explore the Bible and Christianity, you are invited to join one of our regular, informal weekly
Bible-Study Groups for International Visitors (Wednesday pm, Thursday am, Friday pm, Saturday am, and Saturday pm) – led by wise, experienced and Godly teachers.

‘Advent’ ~ a Latin word meaning 'coming' ~ the season during which we are invited to reflect on the birth of Christ on the first Christmas Day, and on the Christian conviction that He will come again when human history, as we know it, reaches its end.   It also reminds us of the actual coming of Christ which we can all experience at a personal level, if we invite Him into our lives as Saviour and Lord.   By taking Advent seriously we can be prepared to observe the twelve-day season of Christmas.
